    Planned, gathered and implemented product information for an e-commerce website.

Data Integration and Magento Module Development (4 years 2014-2018)

    Delivered solutions to make product, inventory, and pricing available in realtime to a magento instance. In addition to the frontend implementation to deploy said capabilities; utilized multi-site capabilities for branding and introduced SEO conceptually to my company.

Automation & Software Architecture (3 years 2019-2022)

    Transitioned an Access, vb.net and sql based vendor managed inventory solution to a linux and laravel based environment. Worked with vending machine backends both for data retention, backups and reporting their state to stakeholders. Identified, implemented and on boarded employees to interact with our erp system through a REST api that significantly reduced manual entry.

Opportunistic Leadership

    Trained juniors, consolidated multiple positions into a new department and served as a technological liaison to senior leadership. Introduced ticketing to my organization and implemented a system that allowed each department to have their own help desk as well as the workflow that allowed effective interactions with customers.

Technology

PHP

    I spent a majority of my time developing in php. From working with magento and zend to laravel and Symfony. Modern enterprise php is comparable to C# in its capability to implement functionality in business applications but also has the flexibility to knock out quick solutions.

SQL

    My experience is with mssql (tsql) but I had daily interactions with mysql and postgres systems as well. I also heavily utilized redis and elasticsearch where traditional rdms systems were inadequate.

Linux

    I initialized and engaged with ubuntu and centOS systems to run development environments, intranet applications, and manage production environments.

Virtualization

    Whether working with Azure, AWS or others like OpenStack. Virtualization is a core competency in modern software development. It also opens the door to DevOps pipelines that can radically change how software is created and maintained.
